I love to work. Whether it’s the kind of work that pays the bills or the work it takes to create a new bullet journal or to design a workshop or to workout or to cook a new recipe or to help the kids with homework, I simply love the act of working. As a little girl I worked a lot in my mom’s hair salon as her assistant, at home while she worked multiple jobs, at school (sometimes), and later as a college student, and today as a working professional, wife, friend, and mother. I’ve felt joy, frustration, anger, and sadness at work but I’ve always loved the journey.

I have a passion for trying new things that will push me to learn something new and bring a little joy to the different types of work that I do throughout the day. I have more books, journals, notebooks, pens, apps, and work-related inspo doodads than you can shake a stick at. I am grateful for each item, having served its purpose of making the act of working a little lighter, a little brighter.

Hello Workwell started as an email that I was sending to friends. I was trying to make it easy to find high-quality, high-feel-good work-things for the work body, work mind, and work soul. Today, Hello Workwell is a community of over 20,000 readers and doers, all working well, together.

Hello Workwell is a dream come true for me, a place where I can share work inspiration and connect with others who feel the same way about the act of working, who are seeking joy in their work, and are committed to a work-life journey of growth, appreciation, and learning.

I hope that Hello Workwell becomes a place you can delight in, full of curated items, expert advice, recommendations and inspiration that will help make your work a little lighter and a little brighter.

OUR MISSION at hello workwell

We believe in the broad definition of work: something done or made. Everyone does, everyone makes. We believe that you work with your body, mind and soul and we believe in doing that well. We also believe that change is necessary to grow, and that everyone’s work has value.

We believe that less is more and quality has a greater impact than quantity which is why we’re dedicated to creating, curating and recommending things — tangible and intangible — that can make a significant positive professional, personal, and social impact.
